Medical On Group, an international private clinic network, has been operating in Russia since 1997. As part of the transaction, 23 multi-profile clinics in 14 regions of Russia became part of the Medscan Group.
The BIRCH LEGAL team assisted throughout the entire transaction, including structuring the deal itself, drafting all the relevant documents, and providing support during negotiations, signing and closing. The negotiations with the strategic buyer were successfully completed and the deal has been closed in November 2022.
The project was led by partner Anton Sitnikov and counsel Vera Gorbacheva who joined BIRCH LEGAL in May 2022 ex BCLP Russia. The team also included Victor Mukhin and Natalia Ivolgina (corporate), Ekaterina Tilling and Anna Lapshina (intellectual property), Elizaveta Belotserkovskaya and Artem Kirpu (dispute resolution), as well as Andrey Shubin (finance) and Ivan Koreshkov (tax).
