Ivan participates in consulting for Russian and international companies in connection with their operations in Russia. He is actively engaged in academic research and has been published in a leading legal journal.

- advising a major manufacturer of healthy food products on the process of registering trademarks
- representing a logging company in a dispute regarding compensation for damage caused by its employee as a result of a car accident
- advising a toy manufacturer on its contractual work with its counterparties
- representing bankruptcy managers in various bankruptcy disputes, including disputes on subsidiary liability and challenging transactions
