Anna focuses on the protection of intellectual property objects and the resolution of complex disputes, in particular, disputes related to violations of trademark rights, registration of trademarks and challenges to trademark registration, as well as disputes related to protection of copyrights and patents. Anna represents clients in courts, before the Federal Antimonopoly Service, and the Chamber of Patent Disputes of Rospatent.

Anna advises and represent clients in disputes on unfair competition matters. Anna has experience in providing legal advice on various aspects of compliance with the legislation on personal data protection, including participation in the complex audit on compliance with the law on personal data protection for a major Russian web portal offering numerous online services.

Additionally, Anna has experience with participating in general commercial litigation disputes and international commercial arbitrations.

Anna contributes analytical articles and comments to expert and business media.

Experience

• representing the largest IT company in Russia providing over 100 different IT services in a series of cases (more than ten) in a dispute with one of its competitors over the use of a trademark. The case has formed the court practice for the application of part 10 of Art. 1483 of the Russian Civil Code concerning entering one trademark into another

• representing the interests M.video PJSC's interests in Rospatent and the Court of Intellectual Property Rights in the case related to the protection of the NOVEX trademark - the client's own brand - in the 35th class of the ICGS in a dispute initiated by the opposition of the Russian trademark rightsholder

• successfully protecting the interests of one of the world's largest furniture and home accessories retailers in a complex court dispute concerning the registration of a trademark and violations of trademark rights which was successfully resolved by signing an amicable agreement

• representing the largest developer and investor of real estate in a complex dispute related to a challenge of the Russian patent office’s decisions on the registration of trademarks

• representing Bayer HealthCare in a series of disputes against a Russian generic pharmaceutical company on patent infringement and granting a compulsory license

• advising a large bank on various issues related to the registration of trademarks
