Daria advises clients on a variety of corporate, commercial and employment law matters.

Daria regularly participates in conducting due diligence and drafting legal memoranda on a wide range of matters, including various commercial law issues.

In addition to the above, Daria advises clients on a full range of employment law matters, including the development of various employee incentive (bonus) schemes, conducting legal due diligence, participation in negotiations with employees and assistance in personnel termination matters.

Experience

• advising an international medical technology company on entering the Russian market, including setting up a representative office in Russia, as well as providing full legal support on corporate, migration, and employment matters (drafting all local regulatory acts, including, among others, policies on bonuses and remote working), analyzing employment contracts (introducing mechanisms for increasing/decreasing remuneration due to currency fluctuations), providing support for migration issues (including support for obtaining a work permit), mitigating risks when engaging a contractor under civil law contracts, and solving all problems in the field of labor law arising in the daily activities of the company

• advising a US industrial holding company on conducting interactions with employees during the period of coronavirus restrictions (organization of work during non-working days, vaccination arrangements, remote work and other matters arising in the course of business) and other labor matters, including the dismissal of employees, advance payment for future periods and withholding wages

• advising a company that manufactures crane equipment on labor law issues, including bonus compensation issues, redundancy and compliance with migration laws

• drafting various bonus policies using different incentive mechanisms, including drafting documentation for a major American machine-building company and a hydraulic equipment manufacturer
