- advising the Cherkizovo Group on the acquisition of the Belaya Ptitsa Group’s debt worth RUB 6,5bn secured, among other things, by a pledge of immovable property. As part of the project, we also supported the client's participation in the debtor's bankruptcy proceedings, including the lease of the debtor's real estate assets
- representing Bronto Skylift, a Finnish machinery manufacturer and supplier, in a bankruptcy case against its counterparty due to non-payment for delivered goods
- representing Czech Export Bank in a major bankruptcy case related to the financing of the construction of the Krasavinskaya TPP, whose client is Vologdaoblkommunenergo, a state-owned company which declared bankruptcy in 2014. Czech Export Bank is the largest creditor of Vologdaoblkommunenergo and has a lien on the property. The bankruptcy of the enterprise has been actively discussed at the level of the two governments
- representing a Russian airline in a dispute against a German logistics company based on an aircraft lease agreement. The client had originally intended to sue the counterparty at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, but as the company had filed for bankruptcy, the proceedings were moved to Germany
- representing IATA in bankruptcy proceedings against Transaero and getting the claim of the bankruptcy manager to recover funds from IATA dismissed
- representing a foreign oil trader as a creditor in a refinery bankruptcy case
- representing a US industrial company in recovering a debt from a client who had not fully paid for the equipment supplied and installation work performed and had also declared bankruptcy
- representing a Dubai-based steel company in the bankruptcy proceedings of an electrometallurgical plant
- representing a US toy manufacturer as a bankruptcy creditor in a series of bankruptcy cases of the client's counterparties
- advising a major European forestry company on the debt restructuring of a client in Russia who was undergoing bankruptcy proceedings
