TOKK, one of Russia's largest manufacturers of aluminum, tinplate, and plastic packaging, has completed the acquisition of the Metarus Group's assets. The deal includes the formation of a joint venture focused on producing easy-open lids, tin cans in various sizes, and twist-off caps for glass containers.

The BIRCH team has successfully defended the interests of its client, major foreign bank, in case No. A40-296136/2023 involving a claim from a private investor for the transfer of securities and funds amounting to approximately USD 80 million.

BIRCH’s competition team advised EFKO Group on obtaining clearance from Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the transaction on purchase of an agribusiness holding, including Maslenitsa LLC.
