Personal data 2023: The latest changes, practical tips on passing audits and nonobvious issues
At the webinar, our experts are going to discuss the latest changes in personal data legislation, key trends evident from the latest audits and cases reviewed by Roskomnadzor, as well as unevident risks that could be faced by any company working with personal data.
Program
On 01 March 2023, the second round of amendments to the Law on personal data (152-FZ) came into force, including the rules on procedure for confirming the actual destruction of personal data. These significant changes in the applicable regulations affect not only internal processing procedures defined by the personal data operators, but also the external processes involving interaction with counterparties and the supervising authority – Roskomnadzor.
In light of the ongoing reforms in the regulation of personal data processing and the dynamic debates being held over the possibility of introduction of turnover fines for violations related to such processing, tracking the latest trends that might be evident from the Roskomnadzor practice as well as properly designing internal processing procedures are important safeguards in any company’s approach to ensuring compliance and reducing applicable risks.
During our webinar we will discuss:
- Organization of internal processes related to deletion of personal data in the context of the recent changes
- Roskomnadzor audits: A plan of action / How to prepare
- Personal data and rights to objects of civil rights: possible overlap
- Q&A
Please note that the webinar is intended only for in-house specialists.
We hope to see you there!
